Project Kilkari is the first project initiated by CDF DSC Chapter in 2019 aiming to help the children who can’t afford to study by providing them quality education.
We at Tare Zameen Foundation collaborated with CDF DSC for Project Kilkari. The members had one to one interactions with the kids aged 3-10 years, focusing on the process of learning even in these tough times.
They also organised a virtual orientation/induction session for the kids to make them familiar with members who taught them various concepts through fun activities and PPTs. From playing with colours to some adventurous moral stories, the kids enjoyed and engaged themselves actively with the CDF DSC team. This session surely helped in bringing a radical transformation into their lives.
Regular online classes were inducted with the children wherein they taught them basic concepts of English, Hindi, Maths. Also, they provided them with weekly worksheets, workbooks, and charts.
Animated videos were used in the process and general awareness games also helped them grow in the best possible way.
During their offline visits, they found that our young learners are super talented as they showed their team various skills like yoga, drawing and various performing arts.
Project Aarohan was initiated in 2019 to uplift women and make them financially independent and stronger than ever.
We along with some amazingly talented women from our foundation at Tare Zameen Foundation collaborated with CDF DSC Chapter for Project Aarohan.
We tried to inculcate in them skills that help them generate a respectable means of livelihood and make them Independent. We trained them to make sustainable tote bags, which they completed with the training phase of women. They successfully made various bags and are on the way to making more!
