Metastatic Breast Cancer Awerness program:

Date:3rd October 2020

Tare Zameen Foundation and iVolunteers conducted a breast cancer awareness program on 3rd Oct 2020.

Metastatic breast cancer is when cancer cells have spread from the breast to other parts of the body, most commonly the bones, liver, lungs, or brain.

iVolunteer seek to change the way metastatic breast cancer is viewed by the breast cancer community and the public at large. Breast cancer is the most common female cancer worldwide including in India, where advanced stages at diagnosis, rising incidence, and mortality rates, make it essential to understand cancer literacy among women.
